Online Ventures is looking for an exceptional SEO strategist who understands how to drive quality, targeted traffic to websites. The ideal candidate should be forward-thinking with respect to SEO and committed to staying on top of the latest industry news and standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of an SEO strategist is dynamic and may involve “overlap” with other agency roles. While their responsibilities may be broad, the primary goal remains clear: to drive quality leads to clients’ websites using safe (White Hat) methods that deliver long-term value.

• Conduct exhaustive competitive analysis of clients’ online markets.
• Create tests, collect data, analyze trends, and develop insights to achieve the highest ROI for clients’ campaigns.
• Track website analytics across multiple channels, including organic, social, and paid, to determine the most cost-effective approach to lead generation.
• Optimize landing pages for both search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Fully understand clients’ marketing needs and strategize for both short-term and long-term outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and manage effective link-building campaigns.
• Research competitors’ link profiles, content, and other areas to enhance clients’ campaigns.
• Understand HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to make necessary changes to clients’ websites.
• Collaborate with content providers to ensure quality and messaging align with SEO and CRO goals.
• Continuously add value to clients’ search engine marketing campaigns.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• 3+ years in an SEO-related position, involving keyword research, link building, and SERP analysis.
• Comprehensive understanding of search engine optimization, as outlined in Google’s SEO Starter Guide.
• Thorough understanding of the differences between White Hat and Black Hat SEO techniques.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as MOZ, Majestic, Raven, Alexa, and SEMrush.
• A willingness to work late hours to gain a competitive edge in SEO campaigns.
• Extremely competitive by nature, with a love for challenges.
